SheetsBoss — Terms of Service

1. Introduction

Welcome to SheetsBoss! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the SheetsBoss Google Workspace™ add-on and related services provided by DigiTool (“we”, “us”, “our”). By installing or using SheetsBoss, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please uninstall SheetsBoss and do not use the service.

SheetsBoss is not created by, affiliated with, or supported by Google LLC. Google Sheets™ and Google Workspace™ are trademarks of Google LLC.

2. The Service

SheetsBoss is a Google Workspace™ add-on that operates as a sidebar within Google Sheets™. It provides tools for managing sheet tabs — including renaming, reordering, bulk deleting, searching and replacing tab names, and exporting spreadsheets in Excel format.

All functionality operates within your Google™ account environment. Your spreadsheet content remains in your Google account at all times.

3. Google™ Integration

SheetsBoss integrates with Google™ services using OAuth 2.0 for secure, permission-based access. A standard Google account is sufficient — a paid Google Workspace™ subscription is not required.

You may revoke SheetsBoss’s access to your Google account at any time via your Google Account settings. SheetsBoss requests only the permissions necessary to provide its features — see our Privacy Policy for a full list.

4. Free Tier

SheetsBoss offers a free tier that includes 20 operations per calendar month. Operations include: renaming sheets, reordering sheets, deleting sheets, performing a search & replace, and exporting the workbook. Opening the sidebar does not count as an operation.

Free tier limits reset at the start of each calendar month. We reserve the right to adjust free tier limits with reasonable notice communicated via email or in-app messaging.

5. Subscriptions & Payment

• Monthly plan: Billed at £4.99 per month. Renews automatically each month until cancelled. You may cancel at any time before the next billing date with no further charge.
• Lifetime plan: A one-time payment of £29 grants unlimited access for the life of the SheetsBoss product.
• Payment processing: All payments are handled securely by Stripe, Inc. We accept all major credit and debit cards. By subscribing, you authorise the applicable charge.
• No refunds for partial periods: Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable for the current billing period once renewed, except within the 7-day satisfaction guarantee window (see Section 6).

6. Satisfaction Guarantee & Refunds

If you are not satisfied with SheetsBoss within 7 days of your initial purchase, contact us at hello@digitool.dev and we will issue a full refund — no questions asked. After 7 days, refunds are provided at our discretion.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use SheetsBoss for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable regulations.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of SheetsBoss.
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute SheetsBoss or access to it.
• Circumvent or attempt to bypass the operation count limits or subscription checks.
• Use SheetsBoss in any way that could damage, disable, or impair Google’s services.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for accounts that violate these Terms.

8. Data & Storage

SheetsBoss stores your subscription status, plan tier, and monthly operation count within Google Apps Script properties — infrastructure operated and secured by Google LLC. Your spreadsheet content never leaves your Google account. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

You are responsible for ensuring your use of SheetsBoss complies with applicable data protection laws, including GDPR and UK GDPR, in relation to any personal data contained in your spreadsheets.

9. Intellectual Property

DigiTool grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use SheetsBoss for your personal or internal business purposes, subject to your active subscription tier. All intellectual property rights in SheetsBoss remain with DigiTool.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

SheetsBoss is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that SheetsBoss will be uninterrupted, error-free, or meet your specific requirements.

SheetsBoss depends on Google Workspace™ infrastructure and APIs. Changes to Google’s policies or services may affect SheetsBoss functionality and are outside our control. We are not liable for any impact such changes may have.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, DigiTool shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of SheetsBoss, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption.

Our total aggregate liability to you shall not exceed the total amount you paid to DigiTool in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Third-Party Services

SheetsBoss integrates with Stripe for payment processing. When using these integrations you are also subject to the respective third-party service’s own terms and privacy policies. DigiTool is not responsible for the practices of third-party services.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available at this URL. Where changes are material, we will notify you by email or via in-app messaging. Continued use of SheetsBoss after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of SheetsBoss shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
